A Poem written by Abhinav Nagar, narrated by Vinay Pathak 02-TUJKO SAMJAH TORTURE CD MISC-20210627 TRACK#02 2:54 LOCKDOWN-2020; VINAY PATHAK; ABHINAV NAGAR https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UITFm95KelE Now that some of the lockdown restrictions are being lifted, let us hear what “Kishore Da” has to say: 03-ARRE BHAI NIKAL KE AA GHAR SE CD MISC-20210627 TRACK#03 4:02 NEW DELHI-1956; KISHORE KUMAR & CHORUS; SHANKAR-JAIKISHAN; SHAILENDRA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_20rpJpUzs आइए हम आपको सुनवाते हैं फ़िल्म 'अलबेला' से चितलकर की आवाज़ में “किस्मत की हवा कभी नरम कभी गरम"। 'अलबेला' १९५१ की फ़िल्म थी और यह साल सी. रामचन्द्र के करीयर का एक महत्वपूर्ण साल साबित हुआ था। १९४२ में सी. रामचन्द्र ने हिंदी फ़िल्मों में बतौर संगीतकार पदार्पण किया था मास्टर भगवान की फ़िल्म 'सुखी जीवन' में। और इसके करीब १० साल बाद १९५१ में भगवान दादा की ही फ़िल्म 'अलबेला' में संगीत देकर सफलता के नये झंडे गाढ़े। मास्टर भगवान शकल सूरत से बहुत ही साधारण थे जहाँ तक फ़िल्म में नायक बनने की बात थी। लेकिन उन्होंने इतिहास कायम किया ना केवल इस फ़िल्म को प्रोड्युस व डिरेक्ट कर के, बल्कि फ़िल्म में गीता बाली के विपरीत नायक बन कर उन्होंने सब को चौंका दिया। इसमें कोई शक़ नहीं कि इस फ़िल्म की सफलता का एक मुख्य कारण इसका संगीत रहा। गीतकार राजेन्द्र कृष्ण और संगीतकार सी. रामचन्द्र ने सर्वसाधारण के नब्ज़ को सटीक पकड़ा और हल्के फुल्के बोलों से तथा पाश्चात्य व शास्त्रीय संगीत के मिश्रण से लोकप्रिय गीत संगीत की रचना की। तो आइए सुनिए "बबलू" लाहोरी लहरिया के अनुरोध पर "किस्मत की हवा, कभी नरम ".,, 04-KISMAT KI HAWA KABHI NARAM CD MISC-20210627 TRACK#04 5:50 ALBELA-1951; CHITALKAR; C. RAMCHANDRA; RAJINDER KRISHNA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-DPN72QhjH8 “रमईया वस्तावइया” song is from Raj Kapoor’s “Shree 420” film. It is a matter of surprise how can Telugu words become the beginning of a Hindi song. There’s a story behind it. During the making of ”Shree 420”, the music team used to go to Khandala to make songs. During such trips to Khandala by all the four (Shanker,Jaikishan, Shailendra and Hasrat Jaipuri ) they used to stop at a roadside dhaba for chai and snacks etc. Working there was a Telugu person called “Ramaiah”. Shanker used to talk to him in Telugu and give order to him only, not to anyone else. Shanker knew Telugu very well as he was born and lived in Hyderabad. On such one visit to the dhaba, Shanker called Ramaiah to take the order. Ramaiah signalled him to wait as he was busy with some other customers. As there was some delay in his coming, Shanker became little impatient and started humming “Ramaiah Vastavayya” Ramaiah Vastavaiayya” calling Ramaiah to come quickly. To his words Jaikishan started making tabla sounds on the serving table. This went on for a while, Hasrat got bored by this repetition and said to Shanker “only this much, nothing more?”. Then Shailendra immediately added “ mainey dil tujko Diya “ meaning they were all waiting for Ramaiah to come. When both lines sung together, they thought this could be a song, if continued further. After some time Ramaiah came, took the order and served. This lines and tune was told to RK, he was very impressed and accepted. He created a situation and lyrics were written keeping these lines intact. They wanted to replace “Ramaiah Vastavayya“ line with some Hindi words, but no suitable line could be found and no one was happy replacing it. So, they retained original Telugu words, even though Hindi audiences does not understand its meaning.
