The first 30 minutes of the program features classical, religious as well as regional and popular music. The second one hour features community announcements and ear pleasing music from old/new & popular Indian films.

An Indian Morning celebrates not only the music of India but equally its various arts and artisans, poets and potters, kings and patriots. Through poetry and melodies, music can communicate complex messages and hard-hitting stories gently to a large audience. And the songs of Bollywood speak the language of us all...a song for every occasion...ai mere watan ke logon still stirs the indian heart and soul, meri dosti mera pyar about friendship, vaishnav jan to tene kahiye which was gandhis favourite bhajan. Love is a many splendored thing. It is an all encompassing term that can include love of nation, love of family, love of god or romantic love.
