Joining us in the studio is Tara Shannon, an Ottawa singer and songwriter, to talk about her upcoming album. Shannon opened the first woman-owned record label in Ottawa and uses her music as a platform to support various people in the community, like Butterfly Child Jonathan Pitre.
Later in the show, we have Charlatan op-ed Editor Nicole Bayes-Fleming on air to speak about the top opinion pieces in the Charlatan this week, including an editorial on Carleton's new sexual violence policy.
Other stories include a petition for cleaner Carleton washrooms, a Carleton student that represented Team Canada at the World Baseball Confederation World Cup and new government regulations on vaping.
