A Cityfolk preview including an interview with Hawksley Workman

It's a CityFolk Festival preview on the show tonight. Every song but one, is from an artist appearing at the CityFolk Festival which kicks on Wednesday, September 11th and runs until Sunday, September 15th. It's all taking place down at Lansdowne Park on two stages, and the festival features a wide range of great music over five days. For more information on CityFolk use this link: https://cityfolkfestival.com/ On opening night, Wednesday, September 11th, Hawksley Workman is performing at 7:30 p.m. He is stepping in to cover for Australian singer-songwriter Paul Kelly who had to cancel his tour. Hawksley is always an amazing performer and he has a great body of work to draw from for his show. Hawksley Workman joins me on the show tonight to talk about the end of summer, his music and his upcoming performance at CityFolk. We play music from several albums he's released over the past 25 years. It's always fun to talk to Hawksley and play lots of his music! For more information about Hawksley Workman visit his website: https://hawksleyworkman.com/ Hawksley Workman will be back in the region to perform as part of The Festival of Small Halls. He's in Prescott on October 10th and Almonte on October 11th.
