Some fun tonight with my niece Fiona Smith co-hosting. Fiona has just been accepted into the Broadcasting Program at Algonquin College and I thought it might be fun to show her how a live radio program works (and doesn't work... haha as there were many glitches this evening) and give her a chance to share some of her favourite music. I also asked her to try to explain to me (and you the listener) the big fuss about Katy Perry's new single and why it is garnering so much disdain and anger from critics, fans and other artists. Fiona does a good job of bringing me up to speed on a current pop music phenom and I thank her for that. It makes for some entertaining and engaging radio - and hope you enjoy it!
