This is the 31st anniversary of when I did my first show on CKCU fm. It was the summer of 1992 which was a very exciting period for rock music at that time. Alternative rock, grunge
rock, different kinds of jazz, rap and hip hop were gaining popularity at that time. I was golden age for university and community radio stations were on the rise in North America
I had grand plans to play many of the same tunes that I played that night 31 years ago, but I could not find the cassette I had made that night! So I only remember for sure a couple of the songs I played that night. So I'll play them at some time this evening.
