Indigenous Music for National Indigenous Peoples Day and Some Artists Featured in Week 1 of the Ottawa Jazz Festival

Tuesday (June 21) is National Indigenous Peoples Day, so hour one of the Wavelength is dedicated to a wide variety of Indigenous artists who reside in Canada. The songs explore themes like colonialism, maintaining cultural strength, residential schools and family from an Indigenous perspective.
