A Celebration of Black History Month - Installment #3. Tonight we once again feature great soul, blues, reggae, hip hop and some jazz in hour 1. In hour 2 we have some jazz and great African music.

Tonight it's the third edition of our Black History Month specials. Lots of soul, blues, reggae and jazz in hour 1. Hour 2 once again focuses on music by African artists or artists of African heritage, with two great American jazz icons in the mix. And we wrap up with some music from Aylmer, Quebec... from Merlin. P.S. I regret that I forgot to include a Tony Allen track tonight. My brother gave me two amazing albums by Allen in 2020 and it just slipped my mind. Tony is featured on drums on the Fela Kuti track "I Go Shout Plenty" so you get a chance to hear his amazing drumming on the show tonight. As well, last week Tony Allen was the drummer on the Masters At Work remix of Fela Kuti's "Expensive Shit" which was titled "Expensive."
