Lots of Quiet Folky Pop and the new Josh Ritter album featured and lots of the Bear's Den new album in advance of the band's May 22 show at the 27 Club, and some music by the Mountain Goats, at the Bronson Centre this Saturday, May 4
The evening opens with a wide range of folky pop songs. We feature some music by the National and several songs from the new recording by Bear's Den - a band from the UK that will be appearing at the 27 Club on May 22.

We also feature four songs from the brand new Josh Ritter album, "Fever Breaks". Two politically charged songs, about the state of affairs in the USA today, prompted me play a similar song from the Drive By Truckers, before playing two more songs from Ritter. Unfortunately Josh Ritter is not slated to play in the Ottawa area on this tour... yet... fingers crossed.

We also go back to the Mountain Goats' acclaimed album The Sunset Tree, to hopefully induce you to head out and see the group at the Bronson Centre this Saturday night, May 4.
