Artist, seamstress, herbalist and community builder Miranda Martel describes an online questionnaire she has develop to encourage people to engage in a conversation about creating sustainable communities. Jenny Mitchell joins into Special Blend from Guelph to speak of many things: her mobile performance venue called The Golden Bus, her roles as Volunteer Coordinator and Mobile Studio Coordinator at CFRU FM community radio in Guelph, her dual musical identities as Jenny Omnichord and Bird City, and her admiration for Wax Mannequin, a Guelph-based musician and performance artist.

Carol Shipley talks about her thought-provoking book, "Love, Loss and Longing: Stories of Adoption". The late Barclay McMillan describes his journey to obtain insights and methods to help himself and others "find their voice" and discover their "life song". Jagjeet Sharma, host of 'Asian Sounds' on CKCU and co-founder of the Ottawa Ethnic Media Forum, invites people to contribute stories, articles and poems to an anthology of personal accounts related to the pandemic.
