Alex Yarrow describes "Twice Upon a Time", a volunteer-run program that has given away over 21,000 books to children in the past five years. Their Spin-Athon fundraiser takes place on Friday, April 26 -- see and Siqiniup Qilauta (a.k.a. Sunsdrum) is a duo of Inuit cultural performers Heidi Langille and Lynda Brown. After performing in Toronto to celebrate David Newland's new "Northbound" album on April 26, they will be performing at the Ottawa Grassroots Festival on Sunday, April 28 from noon to 2:00 pm at Southminster United Church (free). They are performing excerpts from Chaucer's 'Canterbury Tales' on Thursday, April 25 at 7:30 pm at LabO Theatre -- see Barb Gray also talks with Dr. Sebastian Schütze who is associated with the current National Arts Gallery exhibit, 'Friedrich Nietzsche and the Artists of the Weimar'. Dr. Schütze is a Professor of Art History at the University of Vienna, Austria.
