Good evening Steve, I bought an Ian Hunter CD for $1 last week when we were visiting the US but don't know any of the songs on it, it's called Dirty Laundry - do you have it and is it any good?

Hey Wally. I'm a big Ian Hunter fan from way back, and although I'm less familiar with his work post 70s/80s, Dirty Laundry is a decent album.

Thanks Steve, I knew you were a fan of his work and I value your input but either way it was hard to resist at that price even if I didn't know the songs :) I did get a but carried away and bought about 30 CD'S for a dollar each

Hey Wally. You can never overdo every dollar spent on music. Some of my favourites were purchased on a gambit without even having heard of the artist. And hey, I'm Scottish so if it was a buck each...........I am already in Heaven over the good deal.

Thanks Neil for the support and so true, I've discovered many great bands by taking a chance on cheap music, even bought a Scientists 7" real cheap which is now an expensive collectors item and a Shack CD which is rare and I really love the music 😂

Hi Dave JC, snd yes you are correct they are from Oz and not the dub master, their 1st 7" sells for hundreds of dollars so was a good investment for a dollar but then again I never sell stuff, just give things away so not likely to make me any money - I buy to enjoy the music and not as an investment but still cool to know

Great music, as usual, Mr Kirkland. Saw Daniel Lanois in Gatineau last week - what a great show! Small venue; a real man of the people. He ended the show with an instrumental on pedal steel, what he referred to as a hymn (didn’t name the song, though) - “to inspire you” he said. It was Blind Faith’ s “In The Presence of The Lord” . Beautiful!
