Joined by my friend and longtime CKCU listener/supporter Wally Salem, who runs The Beautiful Music -- an independent labour-of-love label -- here in Ottawa. For years Wally has shared music with me that I, in turn, have shared with listeners. He has turned me on to a great variety of artists and labels -- mostly new -- I would otherwise be oblivious to, for which I am both grateful and much better off. As you can hear, he espouses the enthusiasm, obsession and knowledge of a true music fan, the kind that this and many other programs on CKCU continuously aim to please.
