This set is a selection of tracks featuring the contributions of three recently departed musicos. Keith Gemmell (d. 24Jul at 68) played saxophones/reeds with Audience, then Stackridge and the Pasadena Roof Orchestra. Roye Albrighton (d. 27Jul at 67) founded and played with the English/German band Nektar for decades. Sandy Pearlman (d. 26Jul at 72) was a producer -- with Murray Krugman -- produced many albums for Blue Oyster Cult, as well as LPs by the Dictators, the CLash's second album, and lesser known Pavlov's Dog, among others. |
