Jamaica was beautiful man. I stayed in Ocho but took the car all through the island, Blue Mountains, Kingston past Tuff Gong, Marley's, and stopped along the road a few times for bbq corn and other delights. Blissful couple of weeks.

There was a little restaurant on the highway close to our villa and they would cook our red snapper for $5 each and throw in all the vegies etc. We had a local kid in his teens who went spear fishing for us every day and bring back fresh snapper for us which we paid him for and then took to the other guy's restaurant to cook our dinner.

When i was in Jamaica, we were à motley crue Who met at à bed and breakfast near the airport, me, abother friend from Montréal, a german, à dutch, an israeli, and an australian. And we took the public bus to Kingston and to ocho rios, one went to Negril...this all happening in only 1 week!!! It was crazy! And womderful!

Did you know that the Heineken in Jamaica is bottled on the island using the spring water from the Blue Mountains. It tasted better than the Heineken I had right in Amsterdam. Tru dat too.

My favorite! I met him once backatage with Rude Ras Music at the New Rising Sun in Montréal. I was young and arrogant, i asked.him what he thought of Buju Banton Who was hot at the time and not very "roots". And I will leave you all, Junior, Neil, Hillbilly, Jeremy, and everybody out there, with what he answered: "Is due to a man what is due to him." Tru Dat Tru Dat Thank YOU Junior!
