Ace retrospective on the ‘Man of a Thousand Songs,’ Ron. Indeed, he took the ‘r’ out of ‘Country’ and put the heart and soul and wit and humour into, as he aptly deemed it - ‘County’ music. Truest of troubadours. For my money, ‘what the Hell - 30 for 60’ - one of this country’s finest ever (forget the genre) singer-songwriter storytellers. Believe I’ll hoist a ‘ron’* and Coke in tribute, up at Billy’s (Brennan’s Hill) later this afternoon. ‘Life’s just a game It’s a grand piece of fun...’ Keep up the fine community wireless works. Mahalo ~ l Coyote (* As Ron was wont to say, “Dark if ya’ got it, light if ya’ don’t”$ Musical Postlude Had never heard him do that version of ‘Sonny’s Dream.’ Niiiiice...
