For the fourth year in a row, Shari Ulrich and her daughter, Julia Graff, visit Canadian Spaces on CKCU to celebrate Mother's Day weekend! They join in from Bowen Island and Vancouver to update the Space Cadets on their latest adventures and share music by some of their favourite artists, including Barney Bentall, Sarah Jarosz, The Bombadils, Adam Cohen, Lori McKenna, Lynn Miles, Susan Crowe, Tom Taylor and David Graff (that's Julia's dad!).
Shari is an award-winning multi-instrumentalist and songwriter known for her work with the Hometown Band, Pied Pumkin, UHF, BTU and the High Bar Gang. She's also part of an exciting new collaboration called The Mavens with Susan Crowe and Lynn Miles. She is also known for her brilliant solo albums, the last two of which have been produced and engineered by Julia!
