Stephen Fearing talks about his career path and his wonderful new vinyl album called "The Secret of Climbing". Laura Risk and Nicholas Williams are known for their subtle musicianship, their synergy and their dynamic approach to playing traditional Scottish and Québécois music. Their performances feature traditional songs and tunes as well as original compositions, played on the fiddle, blackwood flute, accordion and piano. They perform in a concert this evening at 8:00 pm at Rosemount Hall, 41 Rosemount Avenue. The concert, which also features Sudbury-based multi-instrumentalist and singer Duncan Cameron, is a presentation of the Old Sod Society, http://www.oldsod.ca. Russ Kelley recorded several tracks for a new album entitled 'Constitution' by a collective called The Afro-Métis Nation – people with Black and Indigenous heritage.
