Ian Tamblyn presents "40 minutes of uninterrupted music" from a project he coordinated recently – an album of music by Carleton U. music students called "The Carleton Collective". One of the participants, Kelsey Hayes, is in the studio to chat and perform a song. Gord Garner and Natasha Bazilev drop by to talk about a "Learn, Laugh and Listen" event at Bronson Centre on Sat. April 29 that will feature music by Lynn Miles in support of addiction recovery. The Miserable Cooks – Wayne Lyrette, Kevin Garnett, Marshall Robinson and Neil Whyte – perform live and talk about their goals as a band. Karen Leslie Hall, in town from Toronto, talks about the Great Canadian Song-Along, the annual songwriting event she founded 25 years ago. The two Song-Along concerts at the Westboro Masonic Hall this weekend will feature 35 new songs by local writers -- see www.rasputins.ca. David Mayerovitch performs a clever song about the Song-Along on a baritone uke.
