* Tonya Price, host of "Friends With Benefits" (Tuesdays at 4:00 on CKCU) is in the studio to co-host this edition of "Canadian Spaces". * Franco-Ontarien band Pandaléon performs live and talk about their new album entitled "Atone". Their website is www.pandaleon.com. * Trish Murray, host of "The Brew" on CKCU's Monday Special Blend, will drop by to tell us about her "Sounds Simple" live music series taking place on Thursday evenings at the Wellington Eatery in Hintonburg. This coming Thursday, Feb. 4th, it's Sean Oliver, aka Uncle Sean of Uncle Sean and the Shifty Drifters. * The Bottle Hearts will be in to chat and perform live. They play the Sounds Simple series Thursday Feb 18th. Website: www.bottlehearts.com * We'll also hear from Hamilton film maker Cody Lanktree. His award-winning documentary "Harperman: A Dissident Serenade" explores the serious issues raised by the suspension of federal scientist Tony Turner for writing and performing a protest song. The 90-minute documentary will be shown at the Mayfair Theatre on Monday, February 8th at 6:30 pm, followed by live performances by Tony and others at the Georgetown Pub. * Classic Vinyl Beats II takes place on February 6th at The Record Centre from 10am to 6pm with Al Wood performing a special Live To Tape show at 3:30pm. In support of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
