Danielle Allard is recording a new album at Dean Watson's Gallery Studios (www.danielleallard.com). Ashley Newall has a new concert production company called AllNew Live, with shows coming up at the Avant-Garde Bar and The Rainbow (http://www.facebook.com/allnewlive1/events). Lynne Hanson's new "River of Sand" CD is doing very well... and her smashed knee is healing! She is heading out on tour again soon (www.lynnehanson.com). Danny Artuso, known for his virtuosity playing "anything with strings", will perform with Lynne at Gaia Java on Fri. Jan. 19 and in the Kruger Brothers concert on Sat. March 7 (tickets at www.folkzone.ca). Jim Mountain is a long-time music event organizer and has encouraging news about the future of the Almonte Celtfest.
