Part 3 and final look at the Chancellor Records Story as we look at the lesser lights of this Philadelphia label which had its peak years from 1957 to 1963. With American Band Stand as their shop window, songwriters Peter DeAngelis and Bob Marcucci had great success with their Chancellor label. Frankie Avalon and Fabian may have been the main performers but there was a second rank of performers that created local hits without attaining national success.
