music trivia, hb
I did gr.s 11-13 in Elmvale High, 9 miles from Wasaga Beach...highest summer pregnancy rate in Canada! We were proud because The Beach was a biker, rowdy place... But! The Palce hotel was in mid main st., Elmvale...Murray wrote The Farmer song in the "Men's Side" bar. I've heard him tell the story.

Hmm, if you're listening to the broadcast, it appears the re is an error and Hour 3 is now playing where Hour 2 should be. I'm presuming (hoping) Hour 2 will play after that. If you're listening on-demand, the show plays in the correct order.

8:07 AM, January 27th, 2024
Mike Regenstreif (host)
Thanks HB. I think I've heard Murray tell that story, too.

8:44 AM, January 27th, 2024
Honestly, I don't follow playlists....if I want I come here & look up details then google it for chords....& lyrics... I don't listen when hosts read it....I'm not gonna remember... Pour moi, It's like, "Redundant, Man!¶;-) ✊

8:44 AM, January 27th, 2024
Mike Regenstreif (host)
LOL, Hillbilly, but it'll be weird over the air when I tell folks to stay tuned for Canadian Spaces and then (hopefully) the broadcast goes to Hour 2.

8:49 AM, January 27th, 2024
Saw Garnet @ Cafe on the Park in Hogtown .... he musta been 7!!;-) Good but si diff than his big bro!;-) Thanks for your work. Great set!

9:00 AM, January 27th, 2024

9:02 AM, January 27th, 2024
Mike Regenstreif (host)
Yes, Hour 2 is now playing at 93.1 FM where Hour 3 should have been. Again, if you're listening on-demand, the playlist order is correct.

@ Deleted Comment. I understand your anger. Mike is allowed his despair. Check out David Dalle's comments in his program, thursday...I think you might agree with him......I think.... Peace for all of us! Please

9:31 AM, January 27th, 2024
Thanks for a great show!

9:34 AM, January 27th, 2024

Hillbilly, about the deleted comment: I deleted it because it smacked of antisemitism. I'm Jewish and have been including Jewish music in my programs for 30 years -- it has nothing to do with despair. BTW, none of the Jewish music on this show had anything to do with Israel as the (deleted) poster claimed.

9:55 AM, January 27th, 2024
I give up. & that's the problem. I'm aware you are Jewish. I'm aware you play Jewish music. I like klezmer music. My Son in Law is Jewish. Blah, blah... I happen to agree with a hero of mine - Noam Chomsky. If you don't despair....I don't get it. I'm with the position.

10:15 AM, January 27th, 2024
Just finished listening on-demand, Mike. Loved the whole show, including the Jewish music, and I'm not Jewish and don't have any Jewish in-laws.

Thanks Alan.
