Saturday Morning
Saturday December 10th, 2022 with Pat Moore
A very Canadian show. Winter Theme to start. A little Christmas (couldn't help it!!) and some all round great tunes - almost all Canadian.

Hi there - Good morning everyone. So nice to be in your ears - a little unexpectedly because I’m supposed to be on sabbatical, however my fill-in, CKCu’s Martha Walsh has come down with - you guessed it… so here I am, and not reluctantly as I have been missing you. As you may know, I’m still pre-recording my shows - perhaps that will stop in the new year, I haven’t decided yet. So I’m running around this week getting ready for various things, including the Christmas GOOSE concert, which will be over by the time you hear this broadcast. Another sold out show for the Ottawa Food Bank. I’ll say more about that later. However, since I’m on sabbatical and have so many things going on, you’re going to hear lots of music, maybe a few stories, and little of my voice I think… unless I decide to replay some interview from the past… we’ll see as things roll out. I decided to start with a winter theme, and am first going to play for you a short story my brother John Moore wrote about a winter walk in the woods a few years ago - I had recorded it for my show In Your Good Books, in the deep months of the pandemic. I’ll follow that up with some winter songs and tell you what you heard in a bit. I have a few features for you this week too. Rebecca Noelle, Stephen Fearing, Shawna Caspi, Megan Jerome, Lynne Hanson, and more... cheers!
