Welcome to this week’s episode!
Going to be another weekend warm up featuring tunes that surface while digging through the library for things to spin over the weekend.
This week I’ll be featuring the edited recording from the Timekode Tapes Vol. 1 “B” sides recording session from last month that will be available in cassette format at the 20th anniversary happening tonight.
The recording will consist of a short commentary from Seiiizi, Memetic and yours truly about the music featured which is all unreleased and some never heard selections from our production catalogues.
Then the show will be taking it’s usual course of unwinding you from your week for the rest of the first hour and hopefully winding you up for whatever your weekend has in store during hour two most definitely on a more uptempo groove over the course of the show

Myth Myth is a dancer, choreographer, and dance educator from Montreal known for her thoughtful and socially engaged approach to movement. With roots in both club and studio settings, she has studied a wide range of forms including salsa, house dance and contemporary, crafting a style that is grounded, expressive, and accessible. Her work spans a variety of artistic and educational spaces, from studios and stages to music videos. Myth offers workshops that blend technique, body awareness, and freedom of expression in a welcoming and inclusive environment. Don Barbarino Don Barbarino is a Montreal-based DJ and music producer known for his house, Afro, and dancehall mixes, and for representing Haiti. He is also known by aliases such as Godfather D, Master Wayne and Swaaa-D. He started his career in the mid-90s and has since become a fixture in Montreal's music scene, holding residencies at various clubs and performing internationally. In addition to DJing, he also produces music, releasing tracks on labels like Pronto Music and Open Bar Music. Elizabeth’s creative works have evolved at the intersection of arts and activism. Her seminal book, Jazz: Nature’s Improvisation was shortlisted for a ReLit Award, and her book of eco-poetry, Daring to Hope at the Cliff’s Edge evolved out of a year-long residency at the Joggins Fossil Institute: a UNESCO world heritage site on the mighty Bay of Fundy. Together, in this new interactive and heartwarming performance Glenn and Elizabeth invite us into their extraordinary artistic landscape through an evening of song, community and shared joy. Where the music reminds us of our collective power and strength, and gives us nourishment to carry on, together. Izzy Rose is a 24yr old Burundian singer-songwriter who has spent her whole life singing. Her sound is like no other as she mastered the art of soft yet powerful vocals, pairing her melodic voice while flowing through a range of genres. Izzy’s single “OHWEI” was featured on CBC Radio, 10 editorial Spotify playlists and has over 200,000 streams. She's performed in Scotland, Rotterdam, Washington, Montreal and Ottawa including a show at the capital’s biggest music festival RBC Bluesfest. Her newest single titled “CHERI'' is an emotional and intense description of a past lover or distant memory, felt through cut throat and blunt lyrics accompanied by sweet and soft acoustics.
