Back at it magically pulling a show out of thin air trusting the magic will transcend the airwaves.
Some new and old and brand new old offerings on the platters today.
Some amazing re-issues have managed to fall into this vinyl addicts hands alongside some older releases that will have their premiere in this time slot with a real pot pourri of genres and grooves.
Somewhat keeping with the tradition of unwinding you from your week in the first hour, with a slightly mellower vibe featuring some Jazz, Latin Jazz fusion, Afrobeat, Jazz-Funk, Brazilian and a touch of Soul.
In the second hour the plan is to continue our ride with some more Afrobeat, Latin Funk & Disco, Psychedelic Cumbia, Mash-Up / blends and a touch of Ska, time permitting.
I would like to take a minute to remind all of our regular and irregular CKCU listening family that our 2024 Funding Drive campaign is just around the corner and once again we’ll be counting on all of your to help keep us broadcasting into our next year.
With the current state of broadcasting and Social media being what it is, it’s imperative that organizations like CKCU survive to keep providing a voice for our community.
Next year is also a big one since it will mark 50 years that we’ve been in your ears and we're counting on all of you to help take us to this milestone.
