Happy Friday “Drivers”!
This week, being the first "Friday Drive" February and being Black History Month, I will be running through music from the diaspora promoting, self-love, revolution, positivity and celebratory of the black experience.
I’ve pulled a variety of music but will be focusing mostly on jazz, funk and soul from the late ’60’s and ’70’s while trying to dip into a few more contemporary releases depending how the crates dictate.
Some of the sentiments may be familiar and quite timely with all that is going on at the moment, that is the power of our changing yet seemingly never changing times.
