Dedicating this show to celebrate United Future Organization's inception 30 years ago with a special mix tape medley sampling from their five albums released between 1991-2001. United Future Organization's groundbreaking production was a heavy influence for me when I started collecting and spinning music. It was always so exciting to find any of their releases and such a sonic treat to listen to, drawing from of a plethora of genres with samples from obscure records, that I'm still hunting down, brought together with live musicians tight production aesthetic. True pioneers of the Nu Jazz/ Acid Jazz and a real trip down memory lane to some of the forgotten sounds from the '90's. Thank you Raphael Sebbag, Toshio Matsuura & Tadashi Yabe for your vision and broadening my musical taste. Couldn't fit everything I wanted to feature in the broadcast portion of the show so all you "on demand" people are in for a treat of more than an hour of extra content. Hope you enjoy the ride! I don't want to talk or presume as though i know what i am talking about... I do know that it was a pleasant experience. The music was presented in a manner which allowed it to shine. Thanks again. Back in the day, New Soul Collective changed my life for the better. Still today, it is a vital part of everything that happens. Can't thank you enough.
