Special guest interview with singer-songwriter Sarah Beatty
Sarah Beatty is a Hamilton-based singer-songwriter and scientist! She released her debut solo album, Black Gramophone, in 2012 and we are expecting the release of her second album, Bandit Queen, in early 2017. Sarah performs regularly and has played Mariposa and other festivals and shared stages with big name artists like Ani Difranco. Sarah is also an environmental scientist, working in geographic information systems and hydrogeology. Her research has been published in peer-reviewed journals AND she just received her PhD in Environmental Science from McMaster University in June, 2016!
