| Phone interview with Julie Hodgson, Director of Programs for the Coalition of New Canadians for Arts and Culture (CNCAC). The organization ran a fascinating program with the School of Photographic Arts in Ottawa (SPAO) where a group of teens (new Canadians and established residents) learned photographic skills and created a show called "At First Sight: Portraits of our Community". There is a vernissage this evening from 7 to 10 at La Petite Mort Gallery in the Market. The show runs to Sept. 19. Tomorrow morning (Saturday), CNAC is offering a *free* trip to a country property near Perth to view artist installations and participate in a clay/pottery workshop.
