That's correct - I believe Tony made his first pair from a melted down plastic 'washing up' (dish soap) bottle. And - it's the Geezer Butler and Bill Ward rhythm section that also put Sabbath above and beyond most 'metal' bands. Bill and Geezer *swing* whereas most metal bands don't. Nothing against Metallica - great band and all but I don't think Lars Ulrich would swing if you hung him from a rope (not by the neck of course but there are those out there that have called for such a thing).
