"Picture Music" is the album right before the Timewind / Moondawn / Body Love / Mirage / X run. Could be seen as the last album of the early style or the first album of the established style. "Mental Door" is the second side of that album. Although many 70s Schulze albums have drumming, this is the only one where the drumming was done by Schulze himself; later albums are Harald Grosskopf (previous show: https://cod.ckcufm.com/programs/462/32024.html )
"Nostalgic Echo" is a live-in-studio recording from November 1976, which puts it about two months before "Mirage". It has subsequently been reissued in the La Vie Électronique series, Vol. 5. "Discover Trakl" is the full version of a track that appears on the album "X" (George Trakl). It has been included on some later reissues of that album to replace the shorter version, although this version is two minutes longer than even that one. |
