It’s not Dean it’s Deen. But of course the person who is allowed to run this show not only intentionally mispronounces my name but has socially exiled my body and voice of colour from the Ottawa poetry scene. Deen is a specific name and that “e” is ancestral and fixes my identity. I would like to be removed from this website.
