We open the show in conversation with Mathieu Charbonneau of the electronic music duo, Charbonneau/Amato. We talk to Mathieu about his work with Pietro Amato creating great electronic music using vintage synthesizers and drum machines and the challenges and the fun of recreating this music in the live setting. Charonneau/Amato will be doing just that on Thursday, April 25th on the Fourth Stage of the National Arts Centre in a very special music revue featuring 3 artists who record for the Forward Music Group - a Halifax based record company and management team responsible for producing some of the finest instrumental music in Canada over the past decade and a half.
