We open the show in conversation with Stephen Fearing. He joins us today to talk about the upcoming show at RBC Ottawa Bluesfest featuring his group Blackie and the Rodeo Kings with special guest Daniel Lanois. This concert is on Saturday, July 8th on the RBC Stage which also features Robert Plant and Alison Krauss. Stephen talks to us about how Blackie and Daniel Lanois first worked together and how this summer tour came about. He also talks to us about how amazing it is to work with Daniel and what to expect in this special festival concert. We also talk about issues facing Indigenous people in Canada, and how Adrian is a vibrant and important part of the remote community of Attawapiskat on James Bay.
