Dick Cooper of the Cooper Brothers dropped in to talk about his times with one of Ottawa's most popular bands in the late 1970s and early 1980s. The Cooper Brothers have released a brand new disc, produced by the marvelous Colin Linden, so it wasn't all a history lesson. We also talked about the new sounds and the upcoming gig on Saturday night to launch the new album at the Centrepoint Theatre. Thom Swift called in from Halifax (where he was watching his daughters skating in their skating program) but since I mentioned his cell service... the call was lost a couple of minutes into the interview. He has a new album out called Blue Sky Day and we'll try to get him back online for a future show!
