We open the show talking to Megan Bonnell who has just released her third album, Separate Rooms and will be appearing at the Black Sheep Inn up in Wakefield Quebec at 4 p.m. on Sunday. It's the Sunday late afternoon matinee at the Black Sheep - a perfect setting for Megan's new music. We talk to Megan about how it felt more relaxed working on album number 3 and co-writing with Donovan Woods. The group has released a new album titled Tough Luck and will be appearing at the House of Targ next Thursday, April 19th. We talk to Trevor Mann about the process of writing the songs for this album after a frenetic tour of Europe and having only 2 weeks before heading into the studio - hence songs like "Finding My Footing" in some ways are literally about getting back home getting grounded again. We also talk about the pictures that the band used for the most recent album covers and there's a great story behind the bridge picture featured on the new album. By the way, check out the group's song "Taking Its Toll" from the group's last album Long Walk Home. It remains one of my favourite songs from 2016.
