Dave of the Golden Dogs was supposed to call in to talk bout the gig next Thursday at Mavericks... but he missed the call. Hopefully we can get him in next week! Martin Sexton is playing next Friday (21st of Jan.) at the Bronson Centre - he is a "must see" artist who puts on awesome shows. He graciously spoke to us for about 20 minutes about his craft. A wonderful interview. Finally we checked in with Eugene Haslam the founder of one of Ottawa's oldest nightclubs Zaphod Beeblebrox. Eugene suffered a stroke in December and has handed over management of the seminal club to a new team. We talked to him about his health (which is improving) and the future of Zaphods. He told us that he expects to back at his barstool at the club in the not too distant future. We wish Eugene the best of health!!
