Janis Lockwood talks with Kobo Town and Turkwaz about their free concerts this Sunday for the grand finale of the National Arts Centre's Canada Scene. Michael Ball, Jody Benjamin and Jim Keith drop by to play live in the studio, featuring selections from their bands "Ball & Chain" (playing Saturday at Cafe 1870), and "The Vanier Playboys" (playing Wed. July 29 at Upstairs on Elgin).

Ball & Chain and The Wreckers play this Saturday night at Cafe 1870 in Wakefield. Next Wednesday, July 26, the band switches it up a bit, adds accordion player Jim Keith, and turns into the cajun band, The Vanier Playboys, with an 8 pm gig at Live On Elgin.. |
