Music & Beyond: Constantinople; Bluesfest: Lynne Hanson, Monkey Junk

Music & Beyond runs until July 17, with several concerts every day in various locations. The group, Constantinople performs on Monday, July 10 at 5pm at the Delegation of the Ismaili Imanat on Sussex Drive. Setar player & vocalist Kiya Tabassian phones from Germany to tell us more. Bluesfest kicks off tonight and runs until Sunday, July 16. Singer-songwriter Lynne Hanson plays Bluesfest on the City Stage Sat, July 8, at 5:00 PM. She'll give us a call to talk about that and other projects. Swamp roots rockers Monkey Junk are hosting four All-Star Blues Revue sessions at Bluesfest this year, tonight, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the Barney Danson Theatre. Monkey Junks's vocalist, baritone guitarist, harmonica and organ player, Steve Marriner checks in.
