Christmas Concerts - Interviews with Chic Gamine, Andy Maize of the Skydiggers and David Myles

Three artists/groups all coming to town in the next ten days doing concerts with Christmas themes. Chic Gamine has released an e.p. called Christmas Vol. 1 and will be performing with Stuart McLean's Vinyl Cafe at the National Arts Centre on Saturday, December 20 and Sunday, December 21. Alexa of the group talks abour recording Christmas songs on hot August days in B.C. Andy Maize leads the Skydiggers and they perform in two sold out shows at the NAC on Friday (Dec. 12th) and Saturday (Dec. 13th.) It's always a pleasure to talk to Andy about anything... and we touch on feeling blue during the Christmas season and the best ways to deliver new recorded music to fans. David Myles has released Christmas with David Myles and he talks about mixing it up between new original songs about Christmas, Christmas carols and great Christmas classics. He takes on White Christmas on the album and talks about how he tried to do his best with the Bing Crosby classic. David will be performing as part of a trio on Thursday December 18th and Friday December 19th at the National Arts Centre. So lots of great music happening... get out and see some live music this week.
