We chat with Marta Pacek who has a new album out, Voodoo Dolls and False Alarms. The Australian singer-songwriter splits her time between Canada and Australia, and will be appearing four times in the region over the next week. Friday (May 16) she is at Kaffe 1870 in Wakefield; Saturday (May 17) she's at the Rainbow in Ottawa; on May 21 she is at the Killaloe Friendship Centre; and finally she's at the Branch on May 23rd. Jen Lane is making a comeback from a foot injury and major surgery and she will unveil some new songs and old favourites when she plays at the Raw Sugar Cafe on Friday (May 16.) Finally Michael Feuerstack has a great new album out called Singer Songer. ON this album he writes the songs but he's gotten other singers to sing them all. It's a really interesting mix! Check him out as part of the Sappy Forever Book Tour Launch on Saturday night (May 17) at the Raw Sugar Cafe. Apologies to Mike for having a techical difficulty that cut into our chat time and made it impossible to play a full tune from this wonderful album. We'll have you back soon!
