Guest Christina Petrowska-Quilico discusses her upcoming Ottawa concert
Today I am privileged to be joined by Canadian pianist Christina Petrowska Quilico, who will be performing a concert this Monday Aug 4th at the Ottawa Chamber Music Festival. She will be performing all-Canadian works from Ann Southam, Ottawa composers Patrick Cardy and Steven Gellman, and a premiere of a new work by Constantine Caravassilis.
She has just released a new album, her 2nd volume of Ann Southam's "Glass Houses", ebullient piano pieces, overflowing with joy and beauty.
Christina's concert will be this Monday afternoon at 1:30pm at De La Salle Highschool at 510 St. Patrick as part of a whole afternoon of contemporary music concerts there.
