Aaah, fond memories of Shuffle Demons playing in pyjamas at the "old" Club Soda in Montréal, with the fantastic swiss Turbosound sound system! So many, great, great shows I have seen there!

Ryan, not a doctor, but: back problems are so common that no only does Robax Platinum exist, but pharmacies have their own house brands. (One I saw actually uses "Platinum"! Not copyright I guess.) The last time I had a neck muscle with tendon/conjunctive tissue inflammation, or something, the pharmacist recommended the ibuprofen version -- there's also aspirin and tylenol versions -- because ibuprofen is also an anti-inflammatory. The other ingredient in all the robaxes is a muscle relaxant. I found it helped me sleep better at night. After all, even a little pain can keep you awake. FWIW!

Thanks, B. I've tried all the variations. None work on me, I'm afraid. Even stronger stuff like oxy, codeine, toradol, etc... don't work. Maybe it's my ginger-ish complexion!!

If you have doctor, i take Flexiril (muscle relaxant) for my foraminal stenosis (back/shoulder). Try cannabis ! I can't ; makes me anxious. Pretty sure Shuffle Demons were smoking weed in the dressing room.

Thanks, BC. Gonna try some therapy this morning. I may have to ask my doc about that muscle relaxant. Cannabis isn't my thing either.

In a tad late... Had the surprise and quirky pleasure to have seen Shuffle Demons waaaaay back before they were known at all. Busking 'The Beaches', Toronto, walkabout. Most def random acts of random. Circus came to town. Kids (not our own yet) LOVED it!! Would been ~'82-83, before recording.
