For the record. i used to "perform" this, as well as Carmen, Bolero, Madam Butterfly and sooooo many others ... at about age 4-10 in our living room, in mono. i could still "conduct" all of these today... JUST WOW to all!

Ry, assuming you mean the conducting and ballet moves, not so much the undies. Right?? Wonderful shooooow. Best radio is always just after The Drive.

Excited for you to play our experimental tune Ryan, we had a lot of fun recording that. A little background for interest sake :) (Sorry for the long message, but i thought it was interesting) We used my computer to sample some sounds on old TV shows and then used the samples in a pitched keyboard then put through a tape echo. the first synth you kind of hear in the song is one of the songs. Other sounds are michelles voice mixed with keyboards, when you start to hear the keyboard, you cant really hear it cause it mixes so well. THEN, to go even further, all the sounds, including guitar were played through the PA Side of a Roland Space echo (A Real Tape Echo), what that means is, you bypass the clean portion of the echo and record ONLY the echo directly on tape and only hear the tape echos, so, you need to set the echo speed to be 1/4 note from when you actually play it, so you are always playing a 1/4 note BEFORE and need to really think! Its not easy. You can get different tones and sounds depending on the tape head you use and speed you use on the Space Echo, it was mildly frustrating, but definitely get a different sound from it. A bit saturated and over compressed. you can hear some notes/chords that are off in timing due to this, but we still liked it. We also sampled MIchelle's breathing when she was about to sing, you can hear that alot too. The basis for the song was The figurehead by The Cure, but we mixed that with a drum style from Trentemoller. We recorded synth parts, played them backwords and then learned to play the backwards parts forward..lol. I know. The synth I mentioned above, the computer sample, was done that way. It was actually played the opposite way, then we learned to play it backwards and re-played to try to get some different melodies in the synths.
