| Friend of the show, Trish "Trip Vicious" Walker, the loving mother of two, and fearless badass better half of our guitarist Tony D, recently received some very difficult news.
In May of this year, Trish visited her doctor for a routine follow up related to her mastectomy from two years ago. That visit turned out to be not-so-routine and after an ultrasound the following day, a CT scan the day after that and a biopsy a week later, a diagnosis of Stage 4 metastatic breast cancer was concluded. Read more about Trish, and the Go Fund Me that has been set up here: https://www.gofundme.com/f/a-vicious-trip |

| Help CKCUFM reach our 2025 Funding Drive Goal of $193,100 by donating to your favourite CKCUFM program... including maybe this one.
If you'd like to donate to Thursday Special Blend, our goal is $2500 and we need your help to get there. Donate here: https://www.canadahelps.org/me/nwHPJtCQ Nisse, Maddie, Maggie and I appreciate the support we receive every week from the listeners. If you can't afford it this year, that's OK. Maybe next year. Jeff's goal is to get 100 (or more) individual donors this year which would be a 25% increase over the number of people who gave to the show last year. |
