Thursday Special Blend
Thursday February 11th, 2021 with Michael Powell
We talk Tewin and reconciliation through urban planning. Plus, David brings songs he *really* loves.

In the first hour, we ponder city council's decision to approve (with little consultation or engagement) a massive green field community called "Tewin". Some have suggested that Algonquins of Ontario are a front - city should look into this further - I don't know but apparently many people supposedly belonging to A of o aren't Indigenous. - if that is the case then it would certainly be doing the opposite of reconciliation.
