HOST OF: Vintage Love

YEAR STARTED: 2004

A born music lover by trade!  O'shea was birthed into the realm of music.  His mom was a professionally trained pianist and his pops was a singer and artist.  The love of the arts was no doubt, his long and winding road.

O'shea proposed a Reggae inspired show to the station back in January 2004.  To his utter surprise, the station contacted him and was enthusiastic about moving forward with such a program on CKCU.  Thus began the most exciting nightmare.. because youngster O'shea always dreamed of doing radio.  But now with this chance within reach... the nerves almost got the best of him.  But he persevered... completing training on the old McCurdy (What he calls 'Sandra') and mic training.  Nervously, he played his first song and spoke his first words into that mic, on Feb. 3rd, 2004.  Since that time, the show has grown annually and has receive many accolades and awards, most notably, O'shea/Vintage Love won the award for Best Radio Reggae Program from the Caribbean Music & Entertainment Awards in 2017.  From such meager beginnings to an award winning creator, producer and host of Vintage Love and O'shea, always, "Playing With Those Memories Again" (the motto of the show).  So much so that Vintage Love spawned an off-shoot show called "After Hours". Remaining true to the motto, but with this show featuring, Soul, R&B, Slow Jams and generally lovers music for the midnight to 2am time slot while this show was in existence.  

O'shea has thoroughly loved bringing music to the world, helping to keep legendary Reggae artists voices alive and providing a place and space for reflection, for memory, for true Jah's love, romance and maybe even a late night dance. 

For 20+ years O'shea Adagio has been playing the best in Reggae for you.  He hopes to and aims to keep you looking forward to Vintage Love Nights or should I say, Saturday nights - when he spins some of the sweetest, coolest, good vibes music in the world.  As one listener proclaims, there is something about the VLE (Vintage Love Experience).
