Language Arts is simply one of the most compelling bands to emerge within Canada in recent memory, a rare combination of technical virtuosity and an indomitable creative spirit.
The group’s new full-length album ‘Wonderkind,’ recorded with Grammy-nominated producer Darryl Neudorf (Neko Case, Sarah McLachlan), brilliantly marries Cudmore’s raw emotions with a dizzying array of musical styles — indie pop, hip-hop and prog-rock among them — all drawn from her boundless imagination that has become equally innovative and uplifting.
