The public is invited to watch Ms. Nixon give a master class to seven participants. She will also attend a showcase featuring talented Carleton University students. Her trip has been sponsored by the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at Carleton.
Carleton Music Theatre Showcase - 7:30 p.m., Thursday, April 1, Kailash Mital Theatre. Tickets, in support of Carleton music, are $10. Ms. Nixon will be in attendance but not performing.
Master class - 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Friday, April 2, Kailash Mital Theatre. General admission is $40. Students/seniors are $15. Members of the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association pay $20.
Tickets for both events are available in advance from Room A911 Loeb Building or at the door.
